It takes many Architects to make a great city

For over 150 years our community of architects has helped shape the great City of Manchester as we know it today.

Manchester Architects is an inclusive community and we welcome new and aspiring architects to join us

We arrange and host a wide, diverse series of events each year including CPD/Lecture Series, one-off exhibitions, networking/social events such as the Annual Dinner and the Manchester Architects Awards. Supported by South Manchester Architects and the Solo Practitioners Group (a northwest branch of RIBA),  The council also liaises with other professional bodies in the architectural world such as the RIBAARBRICS etc. to represent the views and opinions of the MA community.

Originally predating the creation of RIBA, our community continues to grow from strength to strength, with over 850 architect members and many more including students, making our community the largest in the North West region.

MA became a branch of RIBA in 1891.

Together we can make a difference.
