The Winstanley Scholarship is awarded under the same conditions as the MSA Scholarship except that candidates must be members of the MSA and have been born in Lancashire. The MSA and Winstanley Scholarship are awarded on alternate years but should no suitable candidate be forthcoming for the Winstanley Scholarship the Society will consider entries for the MSA Scholarship.
